Ryan Lochte Is Not A Very Good Liar

Ryan Lochte is the second most decorated swimmer in Olympic history with 12 medals. After this weekend however, he’ll sadly be known as the American Olympian who lied then ran away for his friends to clean up the pieces.

On Sunday Ryan Lochte first concocted the story that he and three other American swimmers were robbed at gun point by a group of men posing to be Brazilian police.

This wasn’t true. Lochte went as far as to get his mother on board with the lie. Lochte’s mother confirmed the story to U.S. media outlets, and while the International Olympic Committee came out and refuted Lochte’s story on Sunday, American outlets wouldn’t believe it to be true.

Then Lochte decided to lie on National TV to NBC’s Billy King.

The video of Lochte retelling his version of events to Billy King aired on Monday. At this point, many people had called shenanigans on Ryan Lochte version of the story.

I mean, the man said with a straight face that he told armed robbers, “whatever” when they put the gun to his head and that they allowed him to keep his phone and Olympic Village credentials. Put it simply, Lochte wasn’t fooling the real.

On Wednesday, Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger were removed from a plane trying to leave Rio. While the fourth swimmer Jimmy Feign who was with Lochte, Bentz and Conger on the alleged night of the robbery was in the wind.

Well now it’s Thursday and Lochte’s story has officially gone up in flames.

At around noon on Thursday a Brazilian police official told the Associated Press that Ryan Lochte had fabricated the entire story, and the details as to why were quite damning.

By Thursday the world knew Ryan Lochte was a liar and now I don’t know what’s worse?  The fact that he would go too far to cover up for his actions or that he seems to still be adamant that he wasn’t lying.

Here’s the New York Times proving Ryan Lochte lied in much greater detail.

So whether you needed to see the evidence first hand or you were smart enough to realize a bunch of lies when you hear them, one thing remains constant throughout this whole ordeal.

Ryan Lochte is a very bad liar and people have gone out of their way to protect his lying ass or as a spokesman for Rio organizers Mario Andrada said

Let’s give these kids a break. Sometimes you take actions that you later regret,” Andrada said. “Lochte is one of the best swimmers of all-time. They had fun, they made a mistake, it’s part of life, life goes on, let’s go.”

There you have it, 32-year-old Ryan Lochte is really just a lying kid who’s good at swimming and made a mistake by peeing all over a gas station in a foreign country.

Got to be good being Ryan Lochte.
